Creepy Crawlies and Frankie Smallies

"Hoo-hoos" finally posting again? It's about time, right? Well, let's get on with it!!!!! I made two of these cute little Jack-O-Lantern tin buckets, full of goodies, for the Peeps teacher's. I've seen the peppermint sandwich idea everywhere on stampers blogs. I suppose the first time I saw one was last year on Rochelle's blog, Impressions ( see the link on my sidebar, to the right). She has made these cute little sandwich's for many occasions, not just Halloween.

Four of these peppermint treats are in the tin, surrounded by crimped, slivered Kraft paper. And how about those pixie stix spiders?!? They have been the latest rage on SCS (SplitCoast Stampers). I don't know who the original creator was but here is where I found them.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1067897. Aren't they cute? You could really "sandwich" anything between the scalloped spiders- peppermint patties, pixie stix, round foil-wrapped chocolate- just imagine! The best thing is that they use all Stampin' Up! punches. ALL the projects shown in this post use a lot of SU! punches. Easy-peasy lemon sqeezy!

And last, but certainly not least, is a Frankie tag made with a sample of "stainless steel look" laminate (1 3/4" x 2 5/8") that I "found" at the local home development center! These Frankie's are EVERYWHERE. I have seen Frankie cards, Frankie notepad covers, Frankie tags and on and on..... I was really glad that all I had to do for the "bolts" was punch 1/8" holes through the card stock before attching to the laminate. That way it would resemble bolts- hopefully! I covered the back of the tag with black card stock and am going to write a greeting in the white gel pen when it's time to give these to the teachers. I found a small flashlight (new, in package) that was orange and attached the Frankie to that. Maybe it'll be used as a keyring on Halloween- hoooooo knows!

I found the little bucket last year at the Target Dollar Spot and have been hoarding four of them for the past year. I "crop-o-diled" some holes at the top of the bucket and strung some linen thread through the holes for a more fall kinda look. All supplies Stampin' Up! except for the candy, bucket, laminate sample and flashlight keyring. Thanks for looking and please enjoy!

P.S. If I ever come up with an original idea, I'll certainly let y'all know;) I also certainly want to give credit to ALL my CASES. If I haven't done so fairly or accurately, please let me know who the credit should be given to- I'd appreciate it! Thanks!
